Want To Have A Blast With Your Work At Home Biz?

Want To Have A Blast With Your Work At Home Biz?

I mentioned yesterday that we have two more e-mail type options
that fit well with a work at home business. ADBLASTERS come in
two forms. There is the traditional e-mail blaster and the
linkblaster.

The email blasters usually send your email ads to large databases
of opt-in members, sometimes actually to groups of safelists.

The link blasters ususally send to FFA and classified ad sites,
sometimes even to Message Boards.

Which ever option you choose you should follow the same principles
for these as you do with any other Email Marketing resource -
SUBJECT LINES that intice people to open and read your ad, ad copy
with ACTION words to take the reader to your website.

From personal experience I have noticed that Adblaster members
(the people receiving your emails) tend to be opportunity seekers
as opposed to Consumer Product buyers. With this in mind, you may
want to SLANT your ads toward the Op seeker. You must know your
market and what your market wants.

In my previous life (the one before my work at home biz) I worked
in the industrial community. I served as a consultant for
manufacturing, industrial and maintenance groups. After being
chewed up and spit out several times for providing what the client
needed, I (not so quickly) learned that I am not supposed to give
the client what I (and the rest of the consulting company) know
they need, but what they WANT! Read that again if you think I
wrote it wrong. Give the client what they want, not what you
think they need. I will tell you, the lessons I learned
were: A) Give them what they want, and B) be prepared with the
things that you know that they need.

I have found that to be true in this crazy work at home marketing
world we are involved in today. The customer, or potential customer
will buy or sign up for just about anything they want. They will
not always sign up for or buy the things that they need (at least
not right away)! So what is the lesson to be gleaned from all this?

Do your homework, and research your market. What pushes the buttons
of those that are your potential customers, what is it they want?
Once you know the answer to that, you can be prepared for all the
backend sales of the things that you know they will need based on
what they are buying.

I did mention two more options; here is the second:

Free for All or FFA and their cousins Classified Ad boards are
a popular means of posting links free to websites. There are MILLIONS
of boards on the Internet. Many boards belong to large Networks.

Besides posting your links to these sites, you can also JOIN the sites
as a member. Once you join you receive your own board that can be
customized with a banner and/or link. You can then use your board to
promote any business you choose. This gives you a PERMANENT link.
We will talk more about permanent links in the link marketing segments.
You can then promote the board and offer a valuable service to others.

Most FFA sites also feature a Pro membership which enables the member
to email their ad to those free members once daily. Pro's send their
email ad to those who posted to the site the day before once a day.
Email marketing with Pro FFA sites is almost as popular as using
Safelists. Be aware: if you try to send more than once a day, you
risk being banned. If you are tempted to "harvest" e-mail addresses
from these lists, DON'T! That is Spam, you will ultimately pay the
price!

Emails are sent out through an onboard mailer. Each email has the
appropriate disclaimers and opt-out links provided to the recipients.
This ensures every email is CAN-SPAM compliant and protects you and
the program from SPAM complaints.

The people who receive your ads are the one's who posted to the board
from the previous day. Every day thousands of people post their links
to FFA sites. Those posters "opt-in" and agree to receive email from
the Pro members in exchange for posting their link to the board. You
should always use you marketing e-mail address when posting to FFA sites.

Next time we will get into the world of Link Marketing. This is a must
do for the work at home marketer.
