search engine ranking and rating: Optimization, Popularity
and Traffic. Posting your link everywhere you can will
help boost your Popularity. All search engines factor in
the kind of sites you link to.

There are many different types of sites that you can use to
link your work at home business and gain the needed
popularity. The two primary types of linking are:Temporary
and Permanent.

We have talked about the use of FFA sites. These are
Temporary links, your link will stay on the board until
enough other posts "push" you off. Your link could be on
the board for several hours or several minutes depending on
the popularity of the that particular FFA site.

If you choose FFA posting as one of your marketing tools,
just as with safelists, more is better. Again, as with
safelists, submitters are highly recommended. Use as many
submitters as you can find. A word of caution: it is very
tempting to submit multiple times. If you are going to
submit to FFA sites more than once in 24 hours, use a
different link and email address. FFA sites will consider
it SPAM if you post more frequently than once in a 24 hour
period. You will risk getting your ip address banned.

Pixle Pages are examples of Permanent link sites. Most
pixle pages offer free listings.

By now you are looking at the temporary links such as FFA
sites and permanent links like pixle pages and scratching
your head. You just can't imagine why in the world any one
would want to advertise on a site that will hold your link
for for a few minutes, or one that no one can see any way!
Those little boxes on the pixle pages are useless right?

Think again. Each time the site you post to, FFA or Pixle
Page, you rattle the web and the spiders come running. Then
each time someone else posts, they come running again! Each
time they come, they index the site and recognize your your
link! Wa la your popularity increases. So you see, a free
pixle spot that human eyes cannot read, yield the same
benefit ( in SE terms) as the paid spots.
